On March 14th, the 2024 Xuantie RISC-V Ecosystem Conference, hosted by the Damo Institute, took place in Shenzhen. Techvision, along with hundreds of global enterprises and institutions including Arteris, Synopsys, Imagination, the Institute of Software of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, jointly showcased the emerging application innovations of Xuantie RISC-V in various industries such as power, 5G communication, robotics, and finance. In addition, the world's first notebook computer based on the Xuantie RISC-V processor, the "Ruyi BOOK," made its debut.
The "Ruyi BOOK" is an open-source laptop based on RISC-V, developed through collaboration between Techvision, the Institute of Software of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Xuantie team of the Damo Institute. It is powered by the Xuantie C910 processor and supports the operation of office software such as DingTalk and Libre Office on the openEuler operating system. This release not only integrates Techvision's rich experience and technical strength in smart terminal product development, but also marks the complete realization of the RISC-V full chain from underlying chips to operating systems to commercial software.
With the rapid development of technologies such as the IoT and artificial intelligence, there is significant market demand for RISC-V in areas such as smart homes, industrial control, and intelligent terminals.
